The Wine Diplomat worked with the House to select several disgorgement years of Bruno Paillard's “Première Cuvée” champagne, with the aim of demonstrating the aromatic evolution of champagne after disgorging.
Five bottles in this limited-edition case, disgorged:
- 2024, “Première Cuvée”
- 2021, “Cuvée 72”
And three that are part of the “Anciens Dégorgements” range, which is not open to the public. This is the first time The House is releasing so many bottles of this collection at once:
- 2017 disgorgement
- 2014 disgorgement
- 2011 disgorgement
All have been stored at the estate since they were disgorged.
The bottles come in a magnificent case made from 100% French wood by Tonnellerie de Champagne.
There will also be an explanatory guide included in the case, and a link to a video by Alice Paillard explaining each of the disgorgements. The idea is to create an experience via an educational journey for 4/5/6 people to open the 5 bottles side by side on the same evening, share the aromatic evolution of the champagne, and discover what each person prefers.
And as an exclusive bonus, those who purchase the case will be able to reorder individual bottles from the “Anciens Dégorgements” range through The Wine Diplomat. Either the disgorgements they preferred... or EVEN older disgorgements! 😉😎
